Recently my boyfriend, who begged me for a pseudonym and so i have decided to dub him as Lord Striped-Socks, surprised me with a holiday trip. I have been dealing with a lot at work lately (major stuff!) and so Lord Striped-Socks kidnapped me and took me island and resort hopping to i must say one of the best places i've ever been in my life.
First stop - the island of Koh Samui. The first hotel we stayed at was the Amari Resort. It has 2 main buildings, facing each other and you have to cross the main street to get to the other. What i liked most about this resort is, you feel like you are in some secluded part of the island but it is actually located in the middle of the busiest part of Koh Samui which is Chaweng. We stayed there for a night and then we moved on to the next resort the following day.
As we leave Amari Resort, I didnt know what to expect from the next stop. Lord Striped-Socks wanted everything to be a surprise, normally he books everything and he gives me all the travel vouchers for safe-keeping but, this time, my only task was to safe-keep both our passports. I was only told next stop is Sala Samui... turned out, it's one of my favorite places in the world.
Aside from the beautiful beach, you can choose to cool that hot sunny day down at the black or white pool! We stayed there for three days and every time i passed by the pool area, I still find my self in awe of such beauty. Here are some of the photos we took, didnt do justice to the place at all, but just to show you how much i have enjoyed our stay here.
One major reason why am gonna keep coming back here is... the hot bartender makes the best mango mojito in the whole universe! I swear! ;-) Lord Striped-Socks will vouch for that, ain't that right mi lord? *winks* Thank you so much babe!
This was our Royal Suite!!! I know! I know! Its on the edge of a hill and overlooking the seaview of the island. When we were escorted to our room, i just stood in awe of the amazing view. It felt like a hollywood movie set and i was... the lead role! Here are some photos, i wish i've taken more.
